Throughout all his drill work, I witnessed Monroe Passmore Monroe Passmore Monroe Passmore 5'8" | 171 lbs | RB/ATH David brearley | 2028 NJ protect the ball. Up the sideline the Brearley product showed a burst of speed. A sturdy back, he also tracked the ball over his shoulder well, while fending off contact. Areas for Passmore to improve are sinking his hips and lowering his pad level. Doing so will allow his feet to be more consistent, control his body better, and improve his ability to stop-and-start.

Monroe is a dynamic offensive weapon that deserves scout’s immediate attention. He consistently created problems for linebackers in the cat-and-mouse drill, using his quickness and instincts to manipulate them in space. Out of the backfield, his burst was immediate and explosive, allowing him to separate quickly and make it tough for defenders to track him in space. Monroe is a natural, smooth runner who seems to glide across the field effortlessly, making his movement look easy even at top speed. He posted one of the fastest 40-yard dash times of the day (4.69s), further validating the game-breaking speed he showed throughout drills. Monroe is going to be a problem for defenses once the fall arrives.
