is set for a huge season with the North DeSoto Griffins, as he is a player who led the team in receiving touchdowns last season and has the chance to do so again. Not only was he a phenomenal athlete, but he was reliable in every aspect of his game as well. When he is asked to have some big moments on the field, that is exactly what he does, as he continues to show that he is one of, if not the most underrated, players in the state of Louisiana as a whole. He is one I am very excited for this season.
College ready tight ends are hard to come by at the high school level, but Miller fits the mold. Miller is a punishing blocker that is quick enough to reach multiple levels of a defense and strong enough to finish blocks with authority. Warren sets himself apart from his peers in the passing game, with his size and soft hands, he is a matchup problem- evident by his three touchdown catches in this matchup.
Hailing from Stonewall, Louisiana, about 30 mins south of Shreveport in the northwest part of the state, Warren Miller is a kid to get on your radar now. The future North Desoto Griffin Tight End/Defensive End is a 6-foot-3, 180-pound stud. Spent time this year as a Quarterback, simply in order to get the ball in the hands of the best athlete on the field on every play. That said, make no bones about it, he’s a future Tight End with super big play ability. Big, fast and strong…look out for Miller over the next four years.
Speaking of the Tight End position, Warren is another good one to know about early. A lot of people are nicknamed “Big Country” but it really fits the 6-foot-3, 180-pounder from Stonewall, La. Stonewall is located in Northwest Louisiana, not far from the Texas border and had a population of just 2,376 in 2020. Warren is a big dual-sport athlete with soft hands that help him in both football and baseball. The size alone makes him a very intriguing prospect, but then add in the fact that can actually play ball at a high level right now and there’s a reason he’s a 2027 prospect to know. He does a nice job stretching the field vertically and understanding where he has an advantage over whoever is covering him. He was clocked at a 4.89 in the forty this summer and can outrun most Linebackers. Given his size, he also easily out-muscles Defensive Back’s. He has a lot of potential to be a highly-recruited Tight End prospect.
