About Miles

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am a dual-threat QB who excels in both the passing and running game. I am meticulous with my footwork and have consistent, disciplined mechanics.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I take pride in my mental preparation, knowing the QB position demands focus, resilience, and quick decision-making. I work with a mental performance coach to sharpen my mindset and lead with confidence under pressure.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am a National Junior Honor Society member and honor roll student, active volunteer with the NEGU Jessie Rees Foundation, and three-time Pop Warner All-American Scholar winner.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I’ve developed leadership through playing quarterback, teamwork by working closely with my teammates and coaches, and a strong sense of community through volunteer work. My academic achievements have also taught me discipline, time management, and perseverance.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Balancing academics, football, and community service has pushed me to become more disciplined and organized. I’ve learned how to handle pressure, adapt when things don’t go as planned, and stay focused on improving every day.

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for a college program that will push me at the highest level, develop my skills on the field, and help me grow into the best version of myself as both a player and a leader.

Colvert is an 8th grade QB who will be playing for Air Academy next fall. Colvert has good athletic ability due to good acceleration, speed, and balance. Good release and throw power. Colvert has very good touch on his throws with a high arch making it easy for his receiver to catch. He stays poised and calm under pressure. Good ball placement skills and good accuracy. He has good roll out speed to the left and good scramble ability. I’m excited to see how he does next year for Air Academy.
