A sneaky receiver who works very well as a checkdown threat while also sneaking up the seams and getting behind the secondary, boasting enough speed to beat LBs in coverage and showing good hands catching through contact. Heydt concludes his high school run as he played a critical role in helping Stewartville win back-to-back state championships between 2023-24.

Heydt had a stellar Week 3, recording two total touchdowns, one on offense hailing from a 20-yard reception off of a screen, and the other on defense coming from a 20-yard interception. Heydt also saw some success carrying the rock where he can utilize his impressive speed in the open space once he breaks through to the second level. Schools need to start getting at this underrated junior prospect.

Heydt has also been a standout on special teams as an effective gunner and excellent blocker on returns. Heydt should get a lot more playing time on defense next season, and should be on the radar as a quickly-rising prospect in Minnesota.
