Here’s a guy that people should be paying closer attention to. Lincoln East’s Mikhale Ford Mikhale Ford 6'1" | 170 lbs | DB Lincoln East | 2025 State NE was one of the biggest risers this season and has emerged as one top DBs in his class. Through 9 games, Mikhale has recorded 21 tackles, a TFL, 2 interceptions, a forced fumble, and one interception return for a touchdown. Ford has the prototypical size you like to see in modern corners, standing at 6’1″ and 170 pounds with a lengthier frame. He is very fluid in coverage with smooth footwork and the ability to flip his hips on a dime. Ford has a reported 4.5 40-yard time which is evident on the field. I like Ford’s physicality both in coverage and his willingness to defend against the run. Mikhale’s ball skills were also nice to see on film as he displays great instincts for getting his hands up and trying to make a play on the ball. Mikhale is a great overall athlete, also proving to be an asset on offense with 8 receptions, 124 yards, and a receiving touchdown. Expect Mikhale to make some noise this offseason as I think he’ll be hot commodity once more coaches catch on.
