Unfortunately, according to a post on Twitter, Gow will be out for the next 4-6 weeks due to injury. In four games, Gow completed 34-of-71 passes for 493 yards, three touchdowns, and three interceptions. It’s worth noting that Mt. Zion Prep plays one of the toughest schedules in the state. Speaking of tough, that’s how I would describe his play in the pocket. I watched him against Mt. St. Joseph and he was under a lot of duress when attempting to pass the football. Gow isn’t afraid to stand in the pocket and take a hit in order to deliver a pass and has no problem using his legs to move the ball for his team. I’m hoping he has a speedy recovery.

is a talented signal-caller whose journey has taken him through Texas powerhouse Allen High School, then Omaha North (NE), and now landing at Mount Zion Prep (MD) for the next chapter of his development. At 6’2” and over 200 pounds, Gow brings both size and a live arm to the quarterback position.
On tape, Gow flashes impressive velocity and accuracy, consistently delivering passes on time and hitting receivers right in the numbers, even on deep balls. He’s not just a pocket passer either, Gow has shown the ability to evade pressure, extend plays with his legs, and find open targets downfield with poise and control.
While his recruitment has yet to fully take off, that could change quickly with a strong season at Mount Zion. As a prospect with physical tools, experience across multiple systems, and a skill set built for modern offenses, Gow is poised to draw attention, especially from programs in the DMV looking for a high-upside quarterback with mobility and arm talent.

Mikey was the biggest surprise on the day of possibly any position on the day and really stood out. A surprise due to him transferring in to Mt. Zion Prep (MD) from Omaha NE, Gow really caught my eye with his performance. A good size player at 6’2″ 212lbs, he is well slapped together. Mikey’s stand out trait is his big arm. He has a cannon that can launch the ball out there and gets very good zip on the ball. Able to make throws across all 3 levels of the passing game with accuracy and nice timing. Gow can put nice touch on the ball when needed and drop in a bucket, while also being able to let a laser go across the middle or to the sidelines. A nice athlete as well, Mikey can move in the pocket and doesn’t go down easily. He can scramble out and either keep the play alive to make a throw down field or pick up chunks of yards with his legs.
Gow looked the part to me and I don’t know how he doesn’t have any offers to my knowledge. He is a QB that I feel fits in the play action style offense that allows him to launch the ball down the field while also using his athleticism would be a great fit. A FCS+ offer level player to me, college coaches will need to start taking notice of Mikey this summer and into the fall as I expect him to have strong year for MZPA.
Thank you @NPShowcases for a great camp and thank you to all the coaches who met with me today. @mzpafootball @CoachStaySharp @NPCoachZim pic.twitter.com/reQsfuzKKk

‘s game against Kearney, Gow delivered one of the top quarterback performances I have seen this season. He showcased a big arm with precision, hitting everything from deep sideline back-shoulder throws to crossing routes and bubble screens. Gow displayed immense trust in his receivers and used his legs to extend plays, running for a few first downs and sealing the win with a bootleg touchdown. He finished with over 250 yards and two touchdowns, showing his clutch side with scoring drives to close the first half and the game. With a Josh Allen-esque skillset—arm talent, mobility, and poise in big moments—Gow has the tools to attract attention from Power Five programs.
