A physical safety who can plan close to the LOS and in coverage, Michael is a top DB in the state of DE and should certainly be getting more interest from colleges.

Michael is a verified 4.5 forty DB from the National Preps Spring Showcase. Where he also performed very well in 1v1s, especially on short to intermediate routes. He was able to stay on the receivers hip, run the route and get his hands on the pass for multiple breakups. So far on film this fall, Michael has had multiple INTs and PBUs. Showcasing his excellent ball skills, and reactions coming from his high play IQ and understanding of the game. Michael also is strong in the run game support. Able to come downhill, run the alley and make the tackle at the LOS. He can fight through the mess and find the ball as if he was a LB. Due to that ability he shows, I like Michael best as a SS at the next level. He covers well in the the flats and across the middle and is a sure tackler making him an ideal fit for the spot.

A strong academic prospect as well, Michael should be getting looked at by Patriot level schools as well as D2 scholarship programs and D3 academics. I expect plenty of interest and offers to start rolling in for Michael in the upcoming months as he is on path to be an All-State DB once again this year.

Overview: Peranteau is a box safety who puts in work in the flats too. He’s that force defender who can check tight ends in coverage and maintain outside leverage versus the run. Even when RBs try to leak out, he quickly closes space to create negative plays. His strength shows up in the way that he can punch or rip the ball loose to cause fumbles. Lewis shows off his hands and speed at receiver as well. He runs past defenders to get open for deep balls and jump balls in the red zone. Already adept at his current role, Lewis is a well-rounded football player who will continue on as a plug-and-play strong/nickel safety.
