About Michael

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Tactical, Fast paced, disciplined, and strong. I study a LOT of film and adjust my game each week to counter my opponent. I am respectful to my opponent on the field, but it would be a mistake to take my respectfulness for weakness. I play very hard, and leave it all on the field.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I lead by example. I’m focused, steady under pressure, and always accountable. I take pride in my preparation and my effort, whether I’m in practice, in the weight room, or in the classroom. I believe consistency defines character, so I work to set the standard for my teammates and earn their trust through action, not words.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I’m active in my church, where I volunteer each Sunday helping with kids’ services and community events. Academically, I’ve been on the Honor Roll and maintained a GPA of 3.85 or higher for the past three years. Balancing academics, athletics, and service has taught me time management and accountability, which are two things I take pride in.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Football has taught me leadership, accountability, and how to perform under pressure. I’ve learned to communicate effectively with teammates and to trust the guy next to me. Volunteering at church has also helped me develop patience and service-minded leadership by putting others first and setting the right example.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

A few years ago, I faced a tough battle with self-doubt and depression. I didn’t always believe in myself or see a clear path forward. Through faith, family, and football, I found strength and purpose. The game taught me how to turn adversity into fuel, and my faith taught me that setbacks can become turning points.

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for a school with strong academics and a competitive football culture. A place that challenges me on the field and in the classroom. I plan to major in Business, so I’m drawn to schools that emphasize leadership, discipline, and real-world success. I want an environment that builds both great athletes and future professionals.
