About Michael

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I typically am a field general quarterback who will sit back and go through progressions to find the open man. When plays get impacted by the defense, I create positive yards by using my legs to find a gap or dump off to my running back. I use a ton of improvision on the field and keep a smooth rhythm in my offense.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

My mentality on the field is to lift eachother up and support eachother through adversity. Positivity flows through my team during games and just daily practices. I am always trying to make myself better while also helping my teammates get better.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Last year a 4.29 GPA -This year a 4.14 GPA -Have taken the most difficult classes, my school offers. -I am in the National Honor Society, and serve my community frequently. -I have student of the year awards in AP government, physical education, US history, college chemistry, Physics, geometry, and carpentry. -I have one athlete of the month numerous times for basketball and football.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have strongly developed leadership this last year as I am the starting varsity quarterback and have managed a whole group of my teammates. Especially community service for me has become very important as I am an active member of National Honor Society.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

One of the biggest challenges in my football career was my freshman and sophomore year being on a team with negativity and degrading comments to players was being spread. After seeing this, I ensured when I started varsity that our team moto would be positive energy everywhere and lifting eachother up.

What type of college are you looking for?

I seeking a college with a positivity driven football program with clean training facilities. Also, academics are important to me, so a football program that emphasizes good grades would appeal to me.
