About Michael

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I’d describe myself as a versatile two-way DB/WR and aggressive player who thrives under pressure. I bring physicality, tactical awareness, and quick reactions. Whether I’m blocking, rushing the quarterback, or covering in pass defense. My ability to read the game helps me adjust and anticipate plays, always staying one step ahead.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I’m driven and mentally tough. I stay focused under pressure, never backing down from a challenge. I hold myself to high standards, always improving after each play. Off the field, I’m dedicated to extra work in the weight room and film study, and my teammates can count on me to stay composed.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I've been volunteering with Joanne’s House since Grade 5, helping families of sick kids who need to stay near the hospital. I’m also an accomplished drummer, performing in concerts since I was 6. Academically, I’m enrolled in all AP classes and have a 3.8 GPA. Balancing these with football has taught me how to manage my time and stay focused

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I lead by example, always rallying my teammates and doing whatever it takes to get the job done. I’m all about teamwork and sacrificing personal success for the team’s win, staying disciplined in every play. My physical conditioning and mental focus help me perform under pressure, showing my resilience and determination

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

The hardest challenge I’ve faced was losing my Opa. I was really close to him, and he’s actually the reason I started playing football. I miss him every day, but I always feel like he’s with me when I’m on the field. His memory keeps me going, and I use that strength to push through tough moments. It’s made me more focused and driven to be the best version of myself, both on and off the field.

What type of college are you looking for?

A competitive Division I or II program where I can develop my aggressive, versatile style of play. I want a program with a fast-paced defense, strong academic focus, and a coaching staff that values player development both on and off the field. My goal is to play football at a high level while earning my Bachelor of Science from an Ivy League school, balancing academics and athletics.
