“Bowens has been dominant at LT, especially as a run blocker- at 6’5 250, he moves really well, plays with great leverage, and has a ton of strength/power he uses to pancake defenders at the line of scrimmage and further downfield.
It’s seriously impressive watching him move from level to level- he opens up massive rushing lanes for the ball carrier and is a huge asset to his team’s ground game. Bowens is just as valuable in pass protection- he does a great job setting his feet, countering rush moves, and being an anchor on his side of the line, rarely allowing any pressure on his QB.“
A little while back, Bowens committed to Memphis!
It’ll be fun watching him in his senior season this fall- he’s a talented lineman with a bright future ahead.
