One of my guilty pleasures of watching film is when I can tell that a player does too. This is the case for Michael Bartasius Michael Bartasius 6'2" | 187 lbs | DB Shawnee | 2026 State NJ . You can see that Bartasius does a great job of scouting his opponent’s tendencies due to how well he jumps routes, interrupting them in order to make big plays. When jumping those routes, you can tell that he does so aggressively and with confidence. Confidence seems to be a theme as Bartasius high points the ball well, using his height to his advantage, while exclusively using his hands to intercept the ball. A solid tackler, he is at his best when chasing behind the line of scrimmage. A subtly to Bartasius’ game is that he matches the arms of receivers when they go deep. Speaking of which, along the perimeter if blocked he uses his hands well to get off of them. What level Bartasius plays at in college will depend on his speed, but I think he might end up being a linebacker.
