About Michael

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I’m a RB/OLB c/o 2026 at Northwestern (IN). I run a 4.4 40 yd stats games 1-3: Offense: 241 rushing on 44 carries (long 24), 80 YPG Defense: 25 tackles, 1 sack, 1 INT, 1 FF, 1 FR, 1 TFL. Career 191, 9 TFL, 4 sacks, 3 INT, 2 FR, 3 INT.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I’m coachable, determined and pride myself on toughness and resilience on and off the field.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I enjoy playing baseball for my high school Northwestern and I play travel for Indiana Prospects. I alos own a business called Michael's LipRippers. I make custom baits and jigs and repair rods and reels. I do repairs for a local store that I also sell my for as well as online. I have blessed to have been able to donate to a local kids fishing clinic and sponsored a youth football camp.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have developed time management from playing sport and having a business. I work for hog farmer and help with on the farm and in his excavation business. I have also worked for a business owner doing some welding for him: I am not afraid of working hard and doing many different things playing sports have helped me become team player and leader.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

In my sports would be adjusting to my 3rd HC since my freshman year. I have gained a lot of knowledge with each of them and adaptive to their coaching easily.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a college that will allow me to get a degree while playing a sport I love. I am interested in mechanical engineering or a business degree. I feel fortunate to be able to hopefully play at any level many do not get that chance. I like working with my hands and getting dirty I would like to be able to make a impact on a team.

Arrick has really come on for Northwestern over the past 2 years after sitting and learning as a freshman. He has quick feet and can easily shed blocks, so I like his ability to get underneath and around if needed. His past 2 seasons have been fairly identical putting up 83 tackles, 4 TFLs, 2 sacks, and 2 forced fumbles on average over those 2 years. He’s a vastly underappreciated player who can help a defense in the 2nd level on Saturdays.
