Player Bio
How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?
I am a 2 year starting linebacker for my team. I usually play OLB but also play MLB. I have been the leader in total tackles both my sophomore and junior years, was defense MVP for my team and I was honorable mention this past season. I was asked to play tight end and running back in this upcoming season in addition to my LB position I am excited to take on this position.
Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?
I am good at not letting things get to me when I make a mistake I learn from it and use it to motivate me. I’m quiet but I take it all in and work very hard.
Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?
I enjoy playing baseball for my high school Northwestern and I play travel for Indiana Prospects. I alos own a business called Michael's LipRippers. I make custom baits and jigs and repair rods and reels. I do repairs for a local store that I also sell my for as well as online. I have blessed to have been able to donate to a local kids fishing clinic and sponsored a youth football camp.
What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?
I have developed time management from playing sport and having a business. I work for hog farmer and help with on the farm and in his excavation business. I have also worked for a business owner doing some welding for him: I am not afraid of working hard and doing many different things playing sports have helped me become team player and leader.
Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.
In my sports would be adjusting to my 3rd HC since my freshman year. I have gained alot and developed through them. My junior year I had a ankle injury that disappointed me my 3rd game in but I did not miss any games I played with a wrap and a brace. I was disappointed to have not had more tackles. I feel blessed to have not really had significant challenges really in comparison to less fortunate
What type of college are you looking for?
I am looking for a college that will allow me to get a degree while playing a sport I love. I am interested in mechanical engineering or a business degree. I feel fortunate to be able to hopefully play at any level many do not get that chance. I like working with my hands and getting dirty I would like to be able to make a impact on a team.
