is a prospect set to play a major role next season. At 6’2”, 215 pounds, he brings size, explosiveness, and versatility on both sides of the ball.
Defensively, Zabaleta lines up as an outside linebacker and wins with raw athleticism. He fires off the edge with speed, shows solid change of direction, and consistently stresses tackles. While his game still needs polish, his natural burst allows him to disrupt plays and apply pressure.
Offensively, however, his upside may be even higher. At wide receiver, Zabaleta looks fluid and comfortable. He catches the ball in traffic, creates after the catch, and accelerates quickly in the open field. More importantly, he moves naturally, making plays look easy once the ball is in his hands.
Because of that, wide receiver feels like his long-term fit. Transitioning between pass rushing and route running isn’t easy, but his offensive tape shows a smoother, more instinctive skill set. Still, regardless of position, Zabaleta will be a key piece for Woodbridge next season.
As more coaches evaluate his film, he has a real chance to elevate his profile and earn his first Division I offer.
