About Braden

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am a very smart physical player. I read plays very quickly and get in the best spots to make tackles. I am all over the field making tackles and I average 13 a game. I had 21 tackles in one game this year. There is no one as smart as me on the field.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am very confident and I am the leader on the defense and on my team. I am very outgoing on the field making sure everyone knows what their job is. I also get everyone hype for the games and help reinforce a mentality that will help us win games.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am in NHS and FCA. I have won math student of the year and have great academics. I also have led bible discussions groups and been apart of STUCO.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have developed great communication skills and leadership skills. Running the defense requires someone to be outspoken and driven in what they do. I have grown in being able to understand people and how to lead people differently based on who they are.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I have faced many challenges. I have faced big time injuries that had set me back in the past. I was out a whole year of sports. I have also faced the challenge of not being believed in and being overlooked. I have overcome these challenges and I am now leading my class in tackles and I am ranked 7th in the state in tackles.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a college with a good eduction and a good brotherhood. I want to be in a good environment and be surrounded by people that want to be successful. The school also needs to have good academics.
