Wow, what a burst of speed and quickness Mekkhi McKenzie had at the Prep Redzone Showcase. He wasn’t perfect throughout the camp, but he showed he is a good athlete that moves well. His ability as an athlete is excellent. His burst and cutting ability are also legit. He even did well in the one-on-one competition. McKenzie is a legit athlete who is in line for a big year next year.

Mekkhi McKenzie Mekkhi McKenzie Mekkhi McKenzie 5'11" Liberty | 2027 PA is an excellent running back who is hard to tackle. He does a great job of hitting his foot in the ground and going downhill. He is an elusive runner who several times makes defenders miss in the backfield for big plays. McKenzie has a chance to be one of the top performers at the showcase because of how well he moves.
