announced his commitment to New Mexico on Monday.
Leeper played at Rancho Cucamonga last season and had a strong showing at the Prep Redzone Stock Up Showcase in January. I saw him catching passes at the Elite 11 Finals recently and he’s packed on some muscle this offseason.
He also had offers from Cal Poly, Montana, UNLV and San Diego State among others. Leeper is the second player from California in New Mexico’s 2026 recruiting class.

was offered by Furman this week and visited Arizona and Northern Arizona.
Leeper played at Rancho Cucamonga last season and has had a big offseason earning high praise from scouts at multiple camps.
He is a fluid athlete who is a big matchup problem due to his size and will be even more dangerous when he adds more muscle. Leeper also visited Minnesota and Vanderbilt recently.

Leeper presents unique upside in his size, length, and athleticism at 6’7″/210. Seems likely to develop into a future TE given his physical profile and would bring plenty of upside to the position in his WR-quality skillset. Did a good job of creating space for himself in 1v1s, used his body effectively to box out defenders, and gets in and out of his breaks suprising well for someone his size. Leeper picked up offers from Penn, NAU, and UNLV in 2024 with more likely headed his way in the near future.
