How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I’m a strong player known for my aggressive defense, quickness and physical style of play. I can push beyond my limits to find that extra gear to strive to win and give my team the edge.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am hardworking, relentless competitor with an outgoing personality, bringing unmatched energy, grit, and determination to every play, every game, and every challenge.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am a dedicated leader beyond sports, serving on student council, fundraising for my school /academics, helping to coach younger kids in the Saturday Sports program, participating and supporting homeless outreach, and earning Shark Scholar recognition for exemplary behavior and community impact.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I work hard in everything I do, on the field and in my community. Football has taught me discipline, teamwork, and problem-solving, while leadership and outreach have helped me develop communication, empathy, and public speaking skills. Balancing it all has improved my time management, conflict resolution, and work ethic, giving me the chance to inspire others and lead by example.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I’ve faced big challenges, like dealing with ADHD in school & recovering from a serious ankle injury in 2024. ADHD made it tough to focus, but worked hard to find strategies to become a high-achieving student. After injuring my ankle, I pushed myself through rehab & worked even harder to get back. Now, I’m stronger than ever and ready to keep improving, no matter the obstacles

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for a big college program with a coaching staff that really knows the game & can help me keep improving. I want coaches who will challenge me, hold me accountable, and push me to be my best. I’m ready to give everything I’ve got to deliver for my team, always working to reach my full potential & grow as a player will be excited to be part of a program that will help me keep leveling up

Like several other MVPs in this writeup, this was Steinhandler’s second New Jersey Prep Redzone Next Middle School Exposure Camp. He was an obvious standout from the moment he walked into the facility. Standing just a hair under 6-foot-2 and weighing a strong, stour 273-pounds, he has a body already ready for the pounding of varsity football underneath the Friday night lights. The two-time Jersey Shore AYF All-Star has played Offensive Tackle during his youth career but looks like a kid who will be playing on Saturdays in the next 4-5 years on the interior Offensive Line or Defensive Line.

In my opinion, the best lineman I saw on either and both sides of the ball was Steinhandler. He’s a big, thick kid that didn’t lose many reps throughout the day, standing 5-foot-11 and an estimated 235-pounds. He did a good job of sitting in his stance and exploding out, using all the power in his lower body to dominate at the point of contact. On top of size and power, he had an impressive motor and a bit of a mean streak when push came to shove.
