He runs a wide variety of routes with precision and has the ability to decisively break off routes to gain separation, which is uncommon for an individual of his build. Furthermore, his yards-after-catch (YAC) skills are remarkable; he has the nimbleness to dodge defenders in open space and the long speed to outpace defenders in the open field. His blocking skills are mature for his age, and they are expected to improve with continued practice. Latendresse is arguably the most talented tight end prospect from Canada I have encountered in years, and he is well-positioned to receive substantial offers from top-tier Power Four schools.
