Shows he can be a three down LB that fills gaps with force against the run or make plays dropping into coverage to close throwing lanes and play the ball in the air. Quick to diagnose the play and locate the ball using good anticipation and reactionary speed. Attacks ball carriers with efficient angles of pursuit and good power at the contact point. Proves he can play in space and be reliable in one on one open field situations. Expect him to continue his rising trajectory going into his junior season.

The sophomore led the team in tackles with 12, adding 1.5 tackles for loss and an interception in the narrow 34–35 loss to Arizona College Prep. He shows excellent awareness and vision, reading the flow quickly and scraping over the top to avoid traffic and pursue the ball carrier. He’s versatile enough to drop into coverage, read the quarterback’s eyes, and make plays in space, while also stepping up as an aggressive run stopper. His ability to operate effectively in space makes him a valuable all-around defender.
