Rosemount | 2026 StateMN had a strong junior season in the 6A ranks, undoubtedly solidifying himself as one of Minnesota’s hardest hitters as soon as you turn on the junior tape. The 210 lber. aggressively tosses and ragdolls ball carriers into the turf like it’s a wrestling match, gets the most out of every hit, and is going to make sure you know it’s the All-District selection when he hits you. Jones does a good job of dropping into passing lanes in zone coverage and had a nice INT vs. Blaine to highlight some coverage ability. He also proved himself to be a productive blitzer, displaying both the power and quickness to defeat blocking attempts in whatever way was asked of him at the time. Jones sifts and works through traffic smoothly, finding the ball carrier with pace, and drives his feet after initial contact, forcing RBs and QBs 4-5 yards backward in dominant fashion. He has reps of him knocking RBs off their feet and completely enveloping them before slamming and bouncing them off the turf while carrying his full weight, and the Rosemount product is a brick wall at the contact point who rocks RBs in the hole and doesn’t allow extra gains after contact. Plus, he owns strong hands that can shock and shed 6A iOL in the box. I love watching this kid hit people.
