All signs point to junior Max Harland Max Harland 6'2" | QB Berryhill | 2027 OK being the guy at the quarterback position this season. We couldn’t get confirmation on that but everything we’ve seen from clips in the spring to 7v7 reps in the summer suggest that Harland will be QB1 for the Chiefs, replacing Payne, who graduated. Harland doesn’t come into this season completely raw. He got some playing time last season, specifically in non-district play so there’s no doubt that he got thrown to the fire a little bit. But that experience could really help Harland as he goes into this season because he’s already been through it. As Harland grows and develops, this offense will continue to rise up the charts.
