Senior quarterback Maverick Gardner Maverick Gardner QB/ATH Moore | 2026 OK is moving over to the quarterback this season. Gardner is a very versatile athlete that was able to be moved around last season. Now, he’s replacing Miller at the quarterback position and the Lions are going to have a very athletic and explosive backfield this season with Gardner at QB1. We’re looking forward to seeing what kind of impact Gardner will have just playing the quarterback position. We are a little familiar with his game from playing different positions but now, he’s been handed the keys to this offense and is ready to go.
