About Maurius

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

A fast and strong defensive end that can come off the edge or line up in the interior. I can also play Inside Linebacker as well.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am a very god-fearing young man. I also believe that I can do anything that I put my mind to.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am a member of My Brother's Keeper, Connected Scholars and Bridge Builders which are all community based organizations.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have done various community service projects within Spartanburg, SC with my outreach organizations. I am also a honors student.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I have ADHD so I have faced various setbacks within my schooling environment but have never let this stop me. I consider my ADHD my super power and look at it as being individualistic and getting to understand different ways of learning than others.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a college where I can grow as a person, academically and athletically.
