An athletic North Georgia lineman who continued to fly under the radar over for way too long, McGill made his commitment this week to Charlotte, choosing the 49ers over Samford, Mercer, Tulsa, among others. The lean, athletic lineman can play guard or tackle at the next level due to his quick feet, length, and natural strength. He plays with good leverage and uses his size to maul defenders in the run game. This is a great pickup for the 49ers who add a commitment from one of the best linemen in the area.
