About Mason

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

My style is cerebral, aggressive, and willing to play anywhere to help my team. Best position is at Guard; played a lot of LT during my sophomore season; I may play Center in 2026. Lost most of 2025 due to a Lisfranc injury suffered at the end of June, which did not require surgery. Came back at end of September and played multiple positions at about 80%. Taking it to next level in 2026.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I would like to think I'm very intelligent, patient, and have a calm personality. I take advanced HS courses at Riverside and really do not allow things to upset me. When I step on the field I turn into a different person.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I was a two sport athlete playing on the JV basketball team in 2025. I'm part of Fellowship of Christian Athletes and Beta Club. I hope to be part of National Honor Society during my senior year. I'm looking to find maybe two or three more clubs and organizations to join.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I pride myself on being the most intelligent person on the line, understanding everyone's responsibilities and able to communicate this to my teammates. I'm willing to play whatever position asked of me. I have a strong punch, quick feet, and mobile.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Lost of most of my junior season to a Lisfranc injury, not requiring surgery. Was never 100% but did what I could towards the end of the season. My family has moved several times so I've had to adapt quickly to school and finding/building new relationships. I also went from being a very slender/quick young soccer player to growing into a strong, big, athletic offensive lineman.

What type of college are you looking for?

My father works in higher education, so he really wants me to set the bar as high as I can. I want an opportunity to play college football at the highest level but at an institution where I can have the ability to also focus on my studies. I'm interested in Business/Finance and would like to be at a program with a top level College of Business or International Business.
