- A true 2029 QB standing 6’1, 165 pounds with a perfect 4.0 GPA. Has attended the Manning Passing Academy and plays for the Shippensburg Greyhounds.
Incredible production is the first thing that caught my eye. In his first game, he logged 115 passing yards and another 63 yards on the ground while accounting for four touchdowns. In his second game, he put together an efficient 150 plus passing yards and another score. Last week was a special one through the air, finishing with more than 250 passing yards and three touchdowns. That level of production is already catching my attention and verifying his near top 150 ranking among Pennsylvania’s 2029 prospects.
Specifically diving into his game against Hershey, I love the first rep. He comes off his first two reads, resets his feet and throws outside the pocket for what ultimately turns into an 80 yard touchdown. His drop back, ability to work a hitch, reset his feet, remain balanced and maintain a good base before and after the throw all stood out.
I’m unsure who is coaching and developing him behind the scenes, but they’re doing a great job. He looks comfortable operating in a spread offense and has the arm talent to stretch the field. His second rep again showcases his ability to move while keeping his eyes downfield. He can also operate from under center in I formation and play action sets, which is becoming increasingly rare for high school quarterbacks these days.
There is a ton of confidence to his game, and he has no problem throwing into covered windows. As much as I’d advise him to be a little more careful with the football, I can’t knock the confidence he shows when testing targets downfield. These first three games should give him a strong foundation of confidence moving forward. It is a ton of production for an underclassman, and I’m hoping to eventually see him in person at some point this season.

stood out even as a 2029 prospect. His mechanics and footwork are consistent. He throws a good ball on time. He rarely waits for a wide receiver to get open as he throws the ball on time. His ball placement is also impressive. He also flashed some good accuracy when he throws the ball. He has a bright future ahead of him.

is a talented quarterback in the 2029 class. He is playing on the Junior Varsity level for Chambersburg this year, and he has displayed a good playing style this season. In the pocket, he shows good mechanics and footwork. He throws a good ball, especially deep balls, with his ability to put good touch on the ball. He is also a good athlete who is able to run with the ball. He shows an excellent job of reading quarterback reads and running with the ball. Costolo has a chance to eventually be a good starting quarterback at the varsity level.
