established himself nicely amongst the lineman on hand Sunday afternoon. Playing for Patriot last year, Clifford seems to be coming into his own as he enters his junior season. Look at his form during the 1vs1s below, you can see this dude has been coached up. Very impressed with his work, he also can long snap too that can go a long way.

Mason may cede varsity long snapping duty to Luca DellaFave Luca DellaFave 6'2" | 215 lbs | LS Patriot | 2025 VA , but he is someone to know. If he is called upon to snap on varsity, Patriot has a trustworthy option in Mason, and I expect he will be the starting long snapper in his junior and senior seasons. His freshman season highlights showcase his long snapping along with his play on the Offensive Line and Defensive Tackle. We have him on our Class of ’27 WL as an OL. He displays good explosiveness and strength at the point of attack and a relentless motor in his play. He is one to keep an eye on over the next few seasons.

Mason plays Center, Guard, Defensive Tackle, and Long Snapper. On the offensive line, he plays with good leverage and pad level, staying under his opponent to drive him out of the gap. At defensive tackle, he comes off the line quickly and has developed the ability to use his hands to keep blockers out of his chest with separation, and utilize a rip and swim move. He is relentless and will fight through the entire play through the whistle and making stops downfield to prevent big plays because he chased the ball carrier.
