. Taylor possesses adequate change of direction, as shown when he elects to threaten the inside path. A very technically sound play Taylor made was when he got his hands up into the armpit of his matchup, powerlifting him up and dumping him. Taylor’s stance must improve in order for him to generate more power and he had a tendency to rush a full-man, rather than half-man.

A smaller guy along the defensive line, Mar’quay Taylor understands this and plays to his strengths. Part of those strengths was his understanding leverage and how to exploit it. Similarly, he read oversets for big wins. However, the most impressive play I thought Taylor made was when he had his hands on his matchup and head into the gap, he used his matchup as a anchor to swing himself into the adjacent gap, then relying on his quickness for a victorious rep.
