About Mar’quay

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I would describe my game play style as a calm under pressure player who uses technique as well as power to get past his opponent.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

My mentality when i'm playing football is to destroy whoever is on the other side of the ball it doesn't matter how much bigger they are then me or how much stronger or faster I'm going to come at you with everything I have.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am not

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have developed an amazing bond with my teammates I hang out with most of them everyday. I am still developing as a leader but so far I would consider myself a leader. I do 10+ hours of community service a year this year I've done 21 hours.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I have not faced challenge

What type of college are you looking for?

A college where I can play, show what I can do, and that's close to home.

A smaller guy along the defensive line, Mar’quay Taylor understands this and plays to his strengths. Part of those strengths was his understanding leverage and how to exploit it. Similarly, he read oversets for big wins. However, the most impressive play I thought Taylor made was when he had his hands on his matchup and head into the gap, he used his matchup as a anchor to swing himself into the adjacent gap, then relying on his quickness for a victorious rep.
