One of the more underrated defensive line prospects in the Atlanta area, Hood is a natural playmaker who can attack the quarterback and play the ball well in the trenches. He can knock down passes at the line and has enough speed to beat opposing tackles off the edge. He moves well for someone at 6-foot-3 275-pounds and is having a giant senior season this season with 69 tackles, 26 TFLs and 13 sacks. He’s shown he can play somewhere at the next level and has been one of the more productive defensive linemen across the 5A classification. He was an easy addition to the latest 2025 Prep Redzone rankings.
