Woods is a 6’3″ 270 pound left tackle that we could see being a really nice fit at guard. Good frame that he can continue to add strength on. Solid footwork and plus athlete. Bend, length, and gets off the line fast in pass pro. Also plays some defensive line which you can see the quickness and mobility.

The 6’2, 270 lb. Whitney Young freshman was a varsity starter at left tackle and is bound to have an abundance of varsity experience in the Chicago Public League by the time his high school athletic career concludes. Markius Woods Markius Woods 6'3" | 270 lbs | DL Whitney Young | 2026 State IL can play both guard or tackle, plays with a solid base, can handle speed and/or power rushes in his pass set, and shows decent strength at the point of attack. I definitely see some movement skills in his freshman tape, and if Woods can continue to hit the weight room hard and add good mass and muscle to his frame he’s going to be a tough assignment for opposing defensive lineman these next three seasons. Whitney Young has some ballers! Don’t sleep on them.
