That’s right, two new additions from Groves who’re ranked extremely high. Mario, like Noah, excels at running between the tackles and making people miss in tight spaces. Where I think Mario is a tad less athletic and fast as those ranked above him, he sports way better power than most backs. When being tackled, Mario keeps his feet moving, his pad level low, and has the balance to run through a ton of half-effort tackles. He also has a solid stiff-arm shown off a few times. All in all, Mario is a near-elite high school running back who’ll undoubtedly have a standout senior season.
