Low center of gravity, strong, solid build, and a plethora of varsity experience, Marion High School’s 5’5, 180 lber. Marcus Hazell Marcus Hazell 5'5" | 180 lbs | RB Marion | 2027 State IL has been working hard this offseason to build on what was already a notable freshman campaign. Hazell is dangerous when he gets into the open field and displays good burst past the first and second levels of a defense. He can run through weaker arm tackles, owns a shifty running style, and threw out some nifty moves on free defenders and used his twitch to beat would-be tacklers past the LOS. Going to be a big year to see if the Marion product can continue to assert himself in the upper echelons of the state’s top football prospects.
