Briggs thrives as a slot specialist. He does an excellent job attacking cushion with urgency, forcing DBs to open the gate prematurely. His releases are efficient, and he’s explosive out of breaks, consistently creating clean throwing windows.

After the catch, he transitions quickly to runner mode. His lateral quickness and elusiveness show up in tight quarters, and he tracks the ball naturally over his shoulder. As a slot weapon, he keeps offenses on schedule while still carrying explosive upside.

Marcus Briggs Marcus Briggs 5'6" | 140 lbs | WR Mcadory | 2027 State AL is an explosive athlete who stresses defenses vertically. His top-end speed forces defensive backs to respect the deep ball at all times. Briggs shows natural ball-tracking ability and adjusts well to throws in the air. He has quick feet that allow him to stack defenders after the catch. While still refining his route tree, the raw traits are evident. Briggs’ ceiling is high as he develops into a complete receiver.

Marcus Briggs Marcus Briggs 5'6" | 140 lbs | WR Mcadory | 2027 State AL is a speedy WR out of McAdory who has made a ton of splash plays for his offense and special teams unit the past two seasons. Briggs is electric with the ball in his hands and makes the most of his opportunities- he plays with a ton of speed and twitch, taking advantage of slower defenses in tons of different ways. Briggs can take jet sweeps to the house, fly downfield and make big grabs, and open up tons of opportunities for his teammates with the attention he commands. It’s really impressive watching Briggs play kick returner as well- he has great vision, avoids huge hits, and consistently puts his team in terrific starting field position. I’m really impressed with Briggs’ versatility and speed at both positions- it’s going to be fun seeing what he does this next season for McAdory.
