Explosive and dynamic as any receiver in the state, Brown possesses a uniquely remarkable combination of size and speed. He can climb the ladder with the best of them in contested catch opportunities and also runs a blazing 4.35 40. Maliek is a beautiful deep-route runner with rapid and precise footwork at the line of scrimmage, followed by smooth strides and little wasted movement. In one-on-one opportunities, Brown uses great balance control and concentration to position himself, high point, and bring home the football. He demonstrates the ability to reel in over-the-shoulder and back-shoulder passes in the red zone. In 9 games this season, Maliek totaled over 900 yards and 10 TDs.
