Riley had 20 offers including Auburn, Ole Miss, UCLA and USC among others. He took a visit to BYU recently.

He had 418 yards receiving with eight touchdowns this season.

Riley is the second receiver from California in Arizona’s 2023 recruiting class, joining Jackson Holman Jackson Holman Jackson Holman 6'3" | 200 lbs | WR/TE Mission Viejo | 2023 State CA of Mission Viejo.

Centennial (Corona) receiver Malachi Riley Malachi Riley Malachi Riley 6'2" | 180 lbs | WR/TE Centennial | 2023 State CA visited Arizona this past weekend for its game against USC.

He told Greg Biggins of 247Sports that he had been to the campus a few times but it was his first time attending a game.

Riley said he wants to take visits to Fresno State, BYU and UCLA before committing in December. BYU and UCLA said they want him to visit after the season which may be a problem, but he definitely wants to visit UCLA before committing.
