Heard has several FBS offers under his belt and is a standout as a T/F athlete, so the general scaffolding is there for a big senior breakout on the recruiting trail. He is a loose athlete who does most of his damage after the catch. He is smooth, fast, and unpredictable in space, allowing him to play slippery and making him difficult to tackle. Heard has plenty going for him on the recruiting trail, but I’m sure plenty of programs will be watching him closely this fall and considering getting involved.

One of the more underrated running backs in Atlanta, Heard runs well, plays hard, and has the potential to have a really strong senior season this fall if he continues to work hard and put on good weight. He’s one of the top returning athletes in the region. He’s a versatile skill weapon who can catch the ball, make plays out of the backfield, and take on a defender in the run game. IF he has a big spring and can continue to improve on his overall skillset, HeardHe competes hard and earned the right to be added to the latest 2027 Prep Redzone rankings.

Heard is a loose, gadgety athlete who does almost all of his damage with the ball in his hand in the open field. He is unpredictable, making him hard to diagnose. He accelerates to his top speed quickly and is loose enough to cut back into new running lanes. Heard is a sub-11 100M runner, and I think he has even more speed potential as he fills out, tightens his movements, and becomes a more explosive athlete.

This kid is just tipping the iceberg right now. He is featherweight at 165 with a lot of space to add more mass. He is smooth and fast, and does both of those things while being a little funky as a mover, considering he is growing into his body. He is a bit of a gadget playmaker, it is clear his coaches just do whatever they can to get the ball in space. He is fast enough to lift off, slippery enough to break free, and steps on the toes of defenders when breaking them down to create more separation. I would be intrigued with this kid at a P4 school. A lot of tread on the tires here.
