About Maksim

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Pro Style quarterback with the athletic ability and football IQ to operate efficiently both under center and out of shotgun. Smooth balanced drop with quick release mechanics that translate well to any offensive systems. Ability to make all the throws from timing routes and deep outs to seam passes and deep posts with consistent velocity and touch.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Lead with confidence without being arrogant, composure under pressure and ability to take accountably from my mistakes and grow from them.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Involved in HS teen program at Community Christian Church Tamarac, FL

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

My growth as a quarterback comes from consistent work and willingness to improve every aspect of my game. This year I have learned the value of being a leader in any system even with the offense isn't built around my specific strengths.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Starting Varsity as 8th grader not only adjusting to size and speed of opponents but being able to learn how to lead teammates 4 years older. Through preparation and effort, was able to be accepted as a peer and lead my team. These skills were able to carry over to Freshman year at Piper where I was only starting underclassman and led our team to 6 A state Playoff birth.
