Luvens is an absolute monster of an athlete. He is a standout on the basketball court as well as the football field and is a player who is tough to match-up against. He makes a ton of plays each week on both sides of the field, lining up as a wide receiver and defensive lineman. During his week 4 performance, he had  catches for an insane 24 yards and 4 touchdowns on the night.

Sometimes you just know an athlete is special, and Luvens Valcin Luvens Valcin 6'2" | 220 lbs | ATH Auburn | 2024 State WA is one of the most amazing human beings to watch in this State. I first saw him while covering the State basketball championships in March, and although people knew he had football offers at that time, he made everyone’s jaw drop when they witnessed what he did. He went up for dunk after dunk, flying well above the rim with relative ease, and making it look ordinary- earning several Zion Williamson comparisons in the process. He moves so well, forward, backward, laterally, and upward while holding the frame and build of an NFL receiver, that I knew he had that type of potential before I ever saw him on a football field. I finally did see that when we at FSP put on the Max Xposure Showcase just over two weeks ago, where he did this:

Not only does Luvens have incredible gifts you can’t teach, but he also takes nothing for granted and works extremely hard. He could be even better in college and beyond than he is in HS, as he’s still got a long way to go to reach his ceiling. He’s going to be a steal for whichever school gets him and could definitely end up among their NFL Alumni.

Luvens Valcin Luvens Valcin 6'2" | 220 lbs | ATH Auburn | 2024 State WA is as explosive of an athlete as this state has. He is too hard to guard in both basketball and football because his jumping and fast twitch ability are too much to stay with. He overpowers good players in both sports as a WR and PF,with extreme jumping ability to catch the football in traffic and to turn lobs into alley-oop slam dunks. He moves well laterally while holding tons of size in addition to his jumping ability, and is well-rounded as an athlete with passion for the game giving him an it-factor. His tape shows his physicality and all-around video game-esque aggression at the catch point. Valcin took a Washington State visit this week and is in the conversation for best WR in the entire state heading into his senior year.
