Luther was a 2028 out of Fairmont that got on my radar recently via Twitter, but the live eval I got on him in the first session of the SDSU Prospect Camp added to his stock. The 6’0 240 pounder might be on the ligther side at the moment, but watching him in his pull-blocking reps in Brookings you would have thought due to his power he generated that he was bigger than those measurables. He also executed those reps with good pad-level which I feel has surely grew even smoother since the 2025 fall season ended. He’s one in the Minnesota 2028 class to watch for out of the good folks at Fairmont.

A varsity starter on the interior offensive line as a sophomore, Malo showed flashes of brilliance both on his tape and during the PRZ Stock Up Showcase in December. Touting low hip level and the willingness to stick to a block downfield, Malo has proven himself to be a reliable run blocker. He does a nice job of getting underneath a defender’s pads and manages to stick with them in pass-pro without drawing a flag. He’s a tenacious blocker whose blitz pick-ups stuck out to me on his tape. Malo is also aggressive when pulling, and I like how he collisions the first man he sees. Even if they’re at an inopportune angle, he at least logs-blocks the defender out of the play. I’ll be curious to see how he performs during his junior campaign.
