. Tompkins has had an outstanding senior year, hauling in a team-high 49 passes for 840 yards and 17 touchdowns in nine games. Luke is a dangerous deep threat, using his explosive speed to run by opposing defensive backs with ease to create separation. He is also very impressive after the catch, using his speed and elusiveness in the open field to turn short passes into big gains on a frequent basis. Tompkins has also carried the ball seven times for 71 yards this season, and has made a big impact on defense, recording a team-leading six interceptions (one returned for a touchdown), along with 27 tackles and 2.5 tackles for loss. Luke currently holds offers from Morehead State, Mount Saint Joseph, and Georgetown (KY), and I can see more coming his way before the end of his senior year.
