Luke Sternberg Luke Sternberg 6'1" | 185 lbs | ATH AHSTW | 2025 State IA may be the most dangerous RB with the ball in his hands in Class 1A, and his performance against Missouri Valley proved no exception. Sternberg carried the ball just 10 times, totaling a staggering 179 yards and 2 touchdowns. Sternberg has also seen more time playing at QB over the last few weeks, in which he finished 4 of 11 for 44 yards and a touchdown pass in the win. Sternberg took a lot of designed draw-plays, which used his speed, vision, and range to his advantage, and he was just running all over Missouri Valley’s defense on Friday night. Sternberg currently leads the Class 1A region with 961 rushing yards, having done so on just 97 carries. Sternberg already holds two D1 offers and with how he’s been playing this season, he’s bound to receive more toward the end of the year.
