When we were making our final touches on the rankings, one name stuck out to me that was not in the top 100 and that was
Luke Roberts

. After two seasons of being a Swiss army knife, we got to see Luke take the reigns at QB, and he had a stellar season as I expected. He finds himself ranked at 97 in this update. See my previous comment on his tape below:
Luke has proven himself to be a versatile ATH for Godwin, playing QB, RB, WR, and DB. I covered Luke in depth before the 2024 season in his QB play, and I stand by what I wrote. The zip on his pass sticks out on all throws across the field, and he shows he can take some off the pass to throw with a good touch. He is also accurate in his throws on top of his arm strength and touch. Beyond that, he can beat you with his legs via his athleticism.

is very impressive not just at quarterback but nearly every position on the football field. He was an all-metro selection as a sophomore which makes sense as he played receiver, running back and safety for the Bald Eagles. He racked in 59 tackles and over 400 yards rushing last fall! Roberts should be the full time starter in 2025 and he can sling it with the best of them.

Playing QB and WR this season, Luke is off to a great start. He has impressive arm strength as a sophomore, effortlessly throwing 40 yards on target, with good zip on the ball. His athleticism is showing in his agility to maneuver the pocket and tuck and run if needed. His athleticism has allowed Godwin to use him at WR as well to get the ball in his hands. I really like what I see in Luke so far this year, and he is living up to my initial evaluation of him before the season.

Luke has good athletic ability displaying very good balance, good acceleration, foot speed, lateral agility, COD, and explosiveness. Good throwing motion with fluid movement. Confident as a thrower, willing to throw the ball into tight windows with his solid arm strength. Good accuracy from the pocket on all throws, keeping the ball away from defenders and leading receivers in stride. Very good ability to extend the play and evade the pass rush, using his good athleticism to roll out of the pocket with good accuracy when throwing on the run with the ability to throw the ball off-balanced on his back foot. Very good ball-carrying skills, with very good burst as a runner through the hole, showing very good balance, and good explosiveness and acceleration out of his cuts to make defenders miss. Overall, a good prospect with lots of upside to his game to be developed over the next three seasons.
