I am a cerebral Quarterback, with a lot of potential. I'm athletic, strong arm, and capable of making throws into any window when necessary.

I work hard and always try and do the right thing on and off the field

I am notable for being a leader as everyone around me says that I take pride in what I do. I am an excellent teammate as I push others to strive for their very best.

Luke is set to take over the QB1 spot for WJ next season after backing up senior QB Jake Forburger Jake Forburger Jake Forburger 6'3" | 210 lbs | QB Walter Johnson | 2026 State MD . Even so, Luke still saw a good chunk of significant field time in 2025 and showed well. More of a pocket passer than WJ’s prior QB, Maynard stands tall in the pocket with fluid clean footwork and good pocket awareness. Showed smooth, tight mechanics at the QBFactory workouts. Close to the shoulder nice over the top release, Luke gets the ball out quick throwing a polished catchable ball. Able to hit receivers in stride with good timing while getting impressive zip & spin on his short/intermediate throws.

Expect to see Luke have a strong summer camp season and early season Sr. Tape. A high academic prospect as well, with a 3.9 GPA, he should be a look for Patriot level schools going into his senior year. Looking forward to seeing more of Luke over the next season as I can see him being one of MoCo’s top QBs for 2027.
