Fitzgerald is a two-way guy for one of the top programs in the northern California region, and provides good position versatility along both the offensive and defensive lines for SRV. Defensively, he is stout against the run and has quick block recognition skills, while showing he can quickly reset the LOS and create immediate knock-back. He is a high motor kid that can make plays from the backside and tackle in the open field while violently getting off blocks. As the season progresses and we near National Signing Day, Fitzgerald should find his home at the D3+ level in college and is a name to watch across the Bay Area in the trenches.
