One of the best natural football players you’ll find in the catholic league and one of the top linebackers in the state. Skoda had a phenomenal junior campaign where he earned all state honors. He was all over the field, leading the team in tackles with 79 on the year. Skoda is very physical and plays with a ton of energy. He also contributed at running back as he scored 7 times on the ground and will be a force at RB this upcoming season. He tends to play his best football when the lights are the brightest and he’ll be an exciting player to watch.

Skoda is a really physical tackler and is consistent in his ability to finish plays with violence. Skoda shows good closing speed in space and has the ability to finish plays 1v1 in the open field.
Skoda is more of an OLB on tape and at the next level and his hand usage at the point of attack make him tough to control off the LOS.

a very talented LB prospect from Long Island picked up his first offer from Ithaca College. Skoda is a physical violent tackler who will likely be one of the most sought-after D3 prospects who I think could even garner some FCS looks with a strong camp season.

One of the most electrifying players I saw this season. Skoda has an engine that doesn’t stop and he was a big reason why St John’s captured the AA-1 championship. Skoda is always around the ball and is one of the hardest hitting linebackers you’ll find in the state. He had 79 tackles, 19 TFL’s and 7 sacks on the year. He was also a great running back and made some key plays on offense down the stretch which guided his team to victory.

was a big reason why the Cougars will be playing on “Championship Saturday”. His impact at running back has changed this Cougars offense. He had two key touchdowns in the win over the Eagles. Both of these runs were all about power. Very few players in this league are as physical at Skoda on an every play basis. He brings unmatched energy and during those two TD runs he barreled his way into the end zone after running over defenders. And of course on defense he added double digit tackles. The run stopping LB had a big game slowing down the Eagles ground and pound style of play. He’ll need to have another big game when he faces off against RJ Pacheco of Moore Catholic one of the best RB prospects in the state.

. He brought unmatched passion and intensity on the field against Fordham Prep. So I can only imagine how hard he’ll play when he takes on his former school this Saturday. Skoda put together a monster performance against Fordham Prep. He had one of the hardest hits I’ve seen this season which caused a fumble resulting in a turnover. Skoda would then get to the quarterback delivering a crushing hit to force an incompletion. And to top it all off, Skoda sat back in pass coverage and came away with an interception that he took to the house. He will need to have a big game against a very deep and talented Chaminade offense.

is only a sophomore but he plays like a veteran. 13 Tackles, 8 Solo, 1 TFL are a dominant performance from your linebacker. Skoda is all over the field and making plays often. Skoda’s ability to run sideline to sideline and make plays both near the line of scrimmage and down the field on the sidelines are some of the best in New York. Skoda had an incredible game and is the most important defense player for this St. John the Baptist in these playoffs.
