Lucius Anderson Lucius Anderson 6'1" | 190 lbs | WR CBA-Albany | 2025 State NY missed a lot of last season due to injury but looking back on the tape I will be the first to admit I was probably way to low on him even with a smaller body of work.

This season Anderson supplanted himself as one of the New York’s best athletes as he dominated camp season and the fall season being a big reason CBA-Albany made a run to the State Championship.

Anderson athletically is very impressive, his short area quickness, twitch, and long speed all stand out. Dynamic with the ball in his hands he is an offensive weapon who shows positional versatility all over an offense.

Anderson picked up an offer from Navy – there is not a player in New York who has had a bigger “breakout” year than Anderson – he was exceptional in limited time last season, but this year has been nothing short of one of the top athletes in New York.

Lucius Anderson Lucius Anderson 6'1" | 190 lbs | WR CBA-Albany | 2025 State NY gets the mark as my biggest miss in the 2025 rankings that were posted early spring. The CBA-Albany athlete was a player who I graded out well but not amongst the top top group of WRs, and at the end of this season, don’t be surprised if he is pushing for a top 10 WR spot in NY – which is essentially around the cutoff for D1 prospects at that position, something Anderson clearly may be.

Anderson returns as the top WR, and this year, does not have a QB rotation to work with but Archie Jones Archie Jones 6'1" | 185 lbs | QB CBA-Albany | 2026 State NY full time. Anderson is great athlete who separates at a high level down the field and shows strong hands on tape.

Anderson, out of CBA-Albany, was on my list of potential breakout D1 candidates this year, which evidently was not going to come out until August. Still, it is no surprise that Anderson had some solid camp performances this summer. Anderson picked up his first offer from New Hampshire.
