About Luciano

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I’m a high-motor, physical edge defender who plays till every snap till the whistle. At 6’1” 220 lbs, I bring a combination of speed, power, and explosiveness off the line. I am a versatile defender being able to go anywhere on the defensive line as well as being able to get into coverage as a backer.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I play with a ruthless mindset and a chip on my shoulder every snap. I take the field with one goal: dominate. I love the physicality of the game and bring controlled aggression, intensity, and attitude every time I line up. I’m the type of player who sets the tone and brings fire to the defense. Although I have a this ruthless mindset I’m very coachable and very humble.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I’m involved in several clubs at my school, including Spanish Club, Sacred Spoons Club, and I serve as President of both the French and German Clubs. One of my biggest academic honors is being inducted into the National Honor Society. I’ve also earned Academic All-Conference honors every year of high school.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I’ve developed strong leadership and teamwork skills, especially through football where I’ve served as a team captain for the past two years. I lead by example on and off the field, pushing my teammates to be their best while holding myself to a high standard. I’ve also been involved in community service, including ringing the bell for the Salvation Army during the holidays.

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for a college where I can compete at a high level on the football field while also earning a strong education. I want a program that values both athletics and academics—somewhere that will push me to grow as a player, student, and person.
