Shannon plays with great balance and a low center of gravity making it very hard for defenders to bring him down. Shannon is a simple runner with a very north and south style, he wins with burst and speed through the hole. Shannon runs with a great motor and a lot of reps it is evident on tape he is just outworking his competition. An underrated part of his game is his vision, Shannon shows really good instincts as a runner and always seems to find the open space on the field. Shannon is a good football player and the position he plays are just minor specifics. Shannon has good athleticism and good instincts in finding the ball. Shannon does a good job of fighting through blocks and he has a good motor fighting through traffic to find the ball. A really well-rounded linebacker who can build off a strong sophomore season.
