of Logan is deservingly picking up high-level college interest for his play on the field this season and is our X-Factor pick for the Wildcats this week. He’s leading the team in receiving with nearly 700 yards and 12 touchdowns as an imposing athlete with rare athleticism for his size. The Wildcats are capable of a round one upset of Doddridge County, but they’ll need Lambert to take over the game and prove that he’s a serious FBS college prospect.

. We’re projecting him as a tight end prospect moving forward after getting more film since ranking him this summer, and he’s shown why we consider him the #1 player at that position and Top 10 overall in his class. Lambert has rare athleticism for his 6’3 230 size and age for a sophomore, and has made some eye-opening plays this season for the Wildcats that you wouldn’t expect for a player at his stature. He moves extremely well and can change direction at a high level with very good agility for his size. Lambert is a no-doubt D1 FBS prospect in our eyes and is likely to receive his first offer before the end of the season.

. He’s a D1 prospect and had a breakout freshman year for the Wildcats and has continued that momentum into 2025 as a sophomore. You’d never believe that he was only in his second season of high school as a 6’2 230 athlete with high-level athleticism for his size. In their week two win over River View, Lambert caught 3 passes for 130 yards and a touchdown, along with a forced fumble recovery that led to a score on defense.

. He’s an overall athlete who they utilized in a variety of ways on offense with 1,000 all-purpose yards, but Lambert’s future as a prospect is likely at linebacker. At 6’3 215 and moving the way that he does, Lambert has a very high ceiling at that position. He also stars on the Wildcats’ basketball squad and is a natural athlete who is going to intrigue colleges once he posts some more film.

No football film at this time.
Standout freshman for the Wildcats as a freshman
Leading rusher and receiver with over 1,000 all-purpose yards and 7 touchdowns
23 tackles on defense, likely his best college prospect position at LB
Great early size at 6’3 215
Also a basketball standout

, who are also prospects listed as High Priority Linebackers, Lambert was a force on both sides of the ball. This past season, Lambert was a catalyst for Logan Middle’s undefeated season and Mid-Valley Athletic Conference title–its first since 2018. He was unstoppable at Running Back, using his tremendous size (listed at 6-foot-2, 215-pounds) to run over, around and through people. There’s not too many 8th grade RBs at that size, that stay at Running Back for the duration of their playing days–which I why I think the traits Lambert has, translates to Linebacker so well. On top of the size and physicality on the gridiron, he also plays basketball–which translates to hand-eye coordination and spacial awareness.
